Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB have released the story trailer for Avengers: Damage Control, the virtual reality experience coming to The Void for a limited time, beginning October 18. We already knew Shuri was designing new suits to help us fight alongside Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and the Wasp, but this new footage shows plenty more of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes assembling.
Spider-Man is sporting a suit that looks a little different than what we’ve seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but contrary to some reports, this is not an entirely new design. It’s actually the design Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development created for Disney theme parks, including Avengers Campus, which opens in Disney California Adventure next year.

That Marvel nerd note aside, the main point here is that Avengers: Damage Control is a much bigger experience than we initially thought. I am also thrilled to say that an hour before this writing, I played through Avengers: Damage Control and can tell you firsthand that it is incredible! That, and my social media reaction, are all I can say for now.
I just lived the dream of every #Marvel fan in #AvengersDamageControl! This next-level VR experience from @MarvelStudios & @ILMxLAB is intuitive & super fun with lots of cool surprises, all wrapped in a spectacular story! Assemble @voidvr starting 10/18!pic.twitter.com/wWMWFFqgIA
