Get ready to live in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and fight alongside some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! ILMxLAB has released a teaser trailer for Avengers: Damage Control, the first-ever Marvel Studios virtual reality experience. Shuri (Letitia Wright) needs you to suit up and she’s got the latest in Wakandan and Stark tech to help you on your mission.

Avengers: Damage Control will be available for a limited time at select locations of The VOID, beginning October 18. Tickets are on sale now. Below you will find the synopsis of the story and the part you will play in it.

Shuri has recruited your team of four to test her latest prototype design, a powerful new suit that combines Wakandan and Stark Industries technologies. When a familiar enemy from the Avengers’ past seeks to steal the technology for themselves, your team must stop them before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the planet. Fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man, and more in a race to protect the world.

We have known about a secret Avengers project from ILMxLAB for some time, but this looks and sounds even better than we had imagined. Suiting up in what appears to be vibranium-infused Iron Man-esque armor to help The Avengers take down an old foe should be an incredible experience. We might even get to fly!

This will undoubtedly fuel speculation about Shuri’s future in the MCU. This VR experience, as far as we know, is not canon, but it’s not hard to see Shuri taking over as the lead designer of superhero tech now that Tony Stark is gone. She already designed a great new suit for her brother, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), in Black Panther and with Shuri already leading Wakanda’s science and information exchange with the rest of the world, it’s not much of a leap to picture her designing suits for others, including herself.

Regardless of what clues this may or may not hold for the future of the MCU, this is sure to be a can’t-miss experience for any Marvel fan within range of a participating VOID location. ILMxLAB has done phenomenal work in the past (Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire), so there’s little doubt Avengers: Damage Control will be an incredible experience.
