Sony is bringing Spider-Man: Far From Home three days closer to theaters. The studio has moved the film’s release date up to Tuesday, July 2 (it was originally scheduled to drop on Friday, July 5).

The move gets Far From Home out in front of the July 4 holiday weekend. That should help Sony get a few (or several) million bucks out of Marvel-hungry crowds before some of them leave their local multiplex behind to go on vacation.

It also means we will get our first look at the post-Endgame MCU a few days earlier than we thought.
