Captain Marvel is three weeks from hitting theaters and on track for $100M in its opening weekend. That would certainly go a long way in helping the franchise earn a sequel. Star Brie Larson knows exactly what, or rather whom she would like to see in the second film.

“My dream would be that Ms. Marvel gets to come into play in the sequel,” Larson answered when asked which character she would like to team up with during a fan event in Singapore. “That’s the goal,” she continued. You can watch Brie Larson give the answers via the video below (the question begins at 10:37).

Ms. Marvel, real name Kamala Khan, was introduced in Marvel Comics five years ago this week. Khan, a teenage America Muslim from New Jersey, is one of Carol Danvers’s (Larson) biggest fans. When exposure to a cloud of Terrigen mist brings out her Inhuman powers, Kamala takes the name Ms. Marvel for her superhero identity.

In the comics, Carol Danvers used the name Ms. Marvel for many years before taking on the name Captain Marvel. In the MCU, Danvers is going straight to Captain Marvel, but it would still work well enough to have Khan use the name Ms. Marvel as an homage to her hero.

Last year, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told the BBC that the studio has plans for Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel once Captain Marvel is introduced via her debut film. There is a very good chance Brie Larson’s dream will come true.
