This could be a very, very big week for Marvel fans. Rumors have been swirling for the past few days that Marvel Studios is gearing up to drop a pair of trailers this week. It sounds like we could see a second trailer for Captain Marvel on Monday night, followed by the first Avengers 4 trailer on Wednesday morning.

It is believed that the Captain Marvel trailer will premiere during Monday Night Football on ESPN while Avengers 4 will debut its trailer on Wednesday’s Good Morning America on ABC.

Rumors of a big week of Marvel trailers have been passed around the internet for a few days now, but John Campea and Daniel RPK are confident enough to say these trailers are good to go.

It’s important to note that this does not mean these trailers are confirmed to arrive on the days mentioned, or at any other time this week. There has been no official announcement from Disney or Marvel Studios.

Typically, when a Marvel trailer is going to premiere on a Disney-owned network (followed by an immediate release online), we get an official announcement in advance. There’s still plenty of time for us to be put on notice, but thus far, there hasn’t even been a hint of anything Marvel-related debuting during tomorrow’s MNF game.

Keep in mind, though, that Disney just had a very successful trailer debut for The Lion King without giving the world a heads up. There is a chance that Disney will stick with what’s recently worked and just drop trailers without telling us ahead of time.

The mere possibility of a week in which we could double dip with Marvel trailers is enough to get us all excited. Until there’s an official announcement (or an actual trailer drop), however, let’s keep that salt shaker at the ready.
