Disney California Adventure Park is the place to “Make Mine Marvel” in Anaheim. The park already features several Marvel characters you can meet for cool photo ops. Starting early next year, Steve Rogers won’t be the only captain in Disney California Adventure. He’ll be joined by Carol Danvers herself, Captain Marvel!

Disney has officially announced Captain Marvel’s impending arrival at DCA just in time for the character’s feature film debut in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019. I’m sure all the kids (and if we’re being honest, the adults) who see the film will be excited to meet Carol at the park.

DCA has been pretty quick to include Marvel characters in time for (or soon after) their movies hit theaters. Black Panther and the Dora Milaje made their way to DCA earlier this year. Over the next few years, we could see even more Marvel characters inside the park, perhaps including a few Eternals.

An entire Marvel-themed section with new attractions is currently under construction at DCA. It is still many months away, but in the meantime, guests can enjoy these character meet and greets and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
