UPDATE: Earlier this morning, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Brie Larson has a seven-movie contract to play Captain Marvel for Marvel Studios. Larson has now denied this report.
You can see her tweet on the matter, followed by the original article below. Even if the contract isn’t in place, we certainly hope to see Brie Larson as Carol Danvers at least seven times in the MCU!

Get ready to see a lot of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in the foreseeable future. The Oscar-winner has signed on to play Captain Marvel in seven Marvel Studios movies, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first two films on her deal arrive next year. Captain Marvel will be in theaters March 8, followed by Avengers 4 on May 3.
The remaining five films on Larson’s contract will likely be comprised of Captain Marvel and Avengers sequels. Additional possibilities include an all-female Marvel team-up, a supporting role in a Ms. Marvel movie, or perhaps a Guardians of the Galaxy mash-up.
Regardless, this fantastic news for the Carol Corps!
