Just as Iron Man appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, there will likely be a MCU guest star in its sequel. That guest star, however, will not be the Sorcerer Supreme.

When asked by Slash Film whether or not Doctor Strange could appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige did not mince words.

“No. I could be coy about it, but no. I don’t wanna get people excited. But Benedict [Cumberbatch] and [Tom] Holland have liked the idea of working together.”

I guess that means there’s a chance Doctor Strange pops up in the inevitable third film in the current Spidey series (or Spider-Man shows up in Doctor Strange 2).

As a New York-based Marvel hero, Strange was popular guess for which hero could play a supporting role in Far From Home. Plus, the movie shoots in London where Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch resides. Planes exist, though, so Marvel Studios felt comfortable going in another direction.

With Strange officially off the list, which MCU hero do you expect to see alongside Peter Parker (Holland) in Spider-Man: Far From Home? Let me know in the comments!
