This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its first film, Iron Man. The value of items from that movie has never been higher and now one such item has gone missing.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a suit worn by Robert Downey, Jr. in Iron Man. The suit is described as red and gold, which makes it the Mark III armor (that’s the only suit with those colors in the film).

The armor, which is (under)valued at $325,000, was reported missing from a prop warehouse in the Pacoima area of Los Angeles on Tuesday. It is unclear when the suit actually went missing, however, as the disappearance reportedly happened between February and late April.

Hopefully the police will find this missing armor and bring this Adrian Toomes wannabe to justice. It probably isn’t any consolation, but thankfully Marvel Studios should still have more Mark III suits, as multiple versions were made from the film.
