Avengers: Infinity War is coming to Edinburgh, Scotland, again! The highly-anticipated Marvel Studios’ film is going to have a premiere in Scotland’s capital city, according to directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
The Russos, their cast, and crew all spent some time in Edinburgh last year during the filming of Infinity War. They will return for a premiere thanks to a fan petition on Change.org that was noticed and endorsed by Drax himself, Dave Bautista.
The Russo Brothers responded, saying “Let’s do it, Dave. We’re on it. Get ready Edinburgh.”
This, of course, is not going to be the world premiere. That is still happening in Los Angeles. This will probably be a stop on the worldwide Infinity War publicity tour.
Marvel Studios usually has their European premieres in London, and that may still be the case, but any premiere in Edinburgh is a cool gesture to a city that hosted some of the production. I’m sure Atlanta fans will want one as well and now they know, at least in this case, a Change.org petition can actually work!
