Guardians of the Galaxy writer-director James Gunn has previously spoken of the music he would play on set during principal photography on the first film. It wasn’t for the final movie, but to set the right mood for all of the actors and crew.

Yesterday, James Gunn finally shared Awesome Mix Vol. 0 with fans. It includes some much more contemporary song choices than Awesome Mix Vol. 1 & 2, though there are still some older classics in there.
