SECOND UPDATE: Karen Gillan, Sebastian Stan, and Paul Bettany announced the new Marvel Studios Hero Acts initiative on Good Morning America.
UPDATE: The Walt Disney Studios has informed us that there will not be a new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War on Tuesday, February 27, when three members of the cast appear on Good Morning America.
That does not mean, however, there won’t be any new footage.
Marvel Studios is basking in the glow of Black Panther‘s tremendous box office success, soon the Disney marketing machine will shift its focus to Avengers: Infinity War. By the looks of it, we will be getting something from the film next week!
Paul Bettany (Vision), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Sebastian Stan (Bucky) are all scheduled to appear on ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday, February 27. While they could just be there to promote the film without bringing any new footage, that would be unusual.
Bettany, Gillan, and Stan will probably have a clip with at least some new footage. Of course, the new footage may not specifically be from Avengers: Infinity War, if they instead bring something that’s part of Marvel Studios’ 10th anniversary celebration.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see tickets go on sale that same day, or at least have the on sale date announced.
