The first details on the Disney streaming service are in and there’s exciting news for Marvel and Star Wars fans. Marvel will have a live-action series and there will be a Star Wars-branded show when the service launches in Fall 2019.

My first guess is that the live-action Marvel series will be the New Warriors series Marvel had been developing for Freeform before the show became a free agent.

The Disney streaming service will not host and R-rated, or mature content. Those films and shows will be saved for Hulu, of which Disney will own the majority once their purchase of Fox goes through.

All of the Marvel shows currently on Netflix are currently set to remain there. We already knew the Netflix original series were staying put, but I guess this means Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. won’t be leaving Netflix in the near future.

There are still no pricing details on the Disney streaming service.
