Legendary Marvel creator Stan Lee has been rushed to the hospital. According to TMZ, Lee was taken to Cedars-Sinai last night after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat. He is still at the hospital, but said to be in stable condition.
UPDATE: TMZ received the following statement from a spokesperson for Stan Lee.
“[Stan] is doing well and feeling good, he is staying there for a few days for some check ups as a safety precaution.”
Lee made his most recent public appearance at the world premiere of Black Panther on Monday night. Stan co-created Black Panther with another Marvel legend, Jack Kirby. Lee was in good spirits, but possibly not feeling very well, as he was seen in a wheelchair at the event (though not in the photograph below).

We will continue to follow this story and our thoughts are with Stan Lee in hopes of a speedy recovery.
