Marvel Studios

You know the name Kevin Feige. You might also know the name Louis D’Esposito. You really need to know the name Victoria Alonso, if you don’t already. She has been a member of the Marvel Studios leadership team from practically the beginning and has served as the executive vice president, physical production since September 2015.

Alonso has been a driving force for the studio, especially in postproduction, and Hollywood has taken notice. After being named one of The Hollywood Reporter‘s 2017 Women in Entertainment Power 100 last month, Alonso is now being recognized by the Advanced Imaging Society.

Alonso will be one of 13 women to receive the Advanced Imaging Society’s Distinguished Leadership Awards at a ceremony to be held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on January 16.

Congratulations to Victoria Alonso on this tremendous honor! I look forward to seeing more of her work this year with Marvel Studios’ Black PantherAvengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
