Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 writer and director James Gunn has provided fans with something very important to uncover as they watch the film on Blu-ray. The identity of Rocket’s (Bradley Cooper) creator is hidden in the film. It’s not an easy find, though, since no one has discovered yet, but it will help now that people know what they’re looking for.
All we really know about Rocket’s origin is that he didn’t ask to get made. He was torn apart and put back together over and over again. His cybernetic features serve as scars from his horrifying past and it is certainly worth knowing which cruel person (or people) hurt him so many times, in so many ways.
Believe it or not if you’re really really really smart this is hidden somewhere in Vol 2. https://t.co/lO1R4SHUd5

As forthcoming as Gunn is with this information, don’t expect him to provide anymore assistance than he just did. According to Gunn, there is still a major Easter egg from the first Guardians of the Galaxy that no one has found, so the identity of Rocket’s creator may wind up being Vol. 2‘s equivalent of that.
The best and brightest of Marvel fans will have to put their heads together on this one and figure it, or this mystery could remain unsolved even when we know the answer is within reach. Unless of course Gunn takes it easy on us and reveals the identity of Rocket’s creator in a much more obvious way in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
