Fans are eagerly anticipating the first trailer (or teaser) for Avengers: Infinity War and the wait may finally be coming to an end. Marvel Studios is already making this a big week for the film and the trailer could be the perfect way to cap it off. Even directors Joe and Anthony Russo appear to be dropping hints.

Marvel Studios and Avengers: Infinity War are the cover story in this week’s Vanity Fair, complete with four different covers and a massive photo shoot with all of the stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from its first ten years. Marketing and publicity for Marvel movies often come in waves, so the Vanity Fair spread is likely just the beginning.

The Russo Brothers seem to be counting down to something, posting a “3” on their Instagram and Facebook accounts this morning. We know the “3” didn’t mean 3 hours since that time has already passed, but it could mean 3 days, which would suggest the trailer dropping on Thursday. We’ll know for sure if we see a “2” tomorrow and a “1” on Wednesday.

Avengers: Infinity War is due in theaters May 4, 2018.
