Visual effects supervisor Stephane Ceretti can take the rest of the day and enjoy his brand new Oscar® nomination, but then it’s right back to work. The two-time Oscar® nominee’s next film for Marvel Studios will be Ant-Man and the Wasp.

It hasn’t exactly been a secret that Ceretti would be the visual effects supervisor on Ant-Man and the Wasp, but director Peyton Reed made it Twitter official while congratulating Ceretti on his Academy Award nomination.

This is a huge win for Ant-Man and the Wasp. Ceretti earned Oscar® nominations for each of his last two films with Marvel Studios—Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange. He’s delivered mind-blowing effects sequences and immediately lovable digital characters like Rocket, Groot, and even the Cloak of Levitation.

We know very little about Ant-Man and the Wasp at this point, but at least we can count on it looking amazing. No word yet on whether or not Ceretti is going to have the day off to attend the 89th Academy Awards on February 26.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is due in theaters July 6, 2018.
