The press junket for Marvel’s Doctor Strange is underway and the film has screened for critics. Reviews are embargoed for a few more days, but social media reactions are pouring in and it sounds like Marvel Studios has another hit on its hands.
Plenty of positive reactions have been shared since the social media embargo lifted earlier this evening. You can see some of them below, including a couple from me, as I was at tonight’s screening.
#DoctorStrange is a Stan Lee/Steve Ditko creation given beautiful life by the imagination of @scottderrickson & VFX sorcery of @stefceretti!

DOCTOR STRANGE is unlike any previous Marvel movie and that’s why I love Marvel. They keep pushing boundaries and make it look easy.

Doctor Strange’s action set pieces make an MC Escher paintings look tame. Some really great, clever, incentive stuff. Worth the 3D ticket.

DOCTOR STRANGE magic makes HARRY POTTER’s look like parlour tricks. Dark & spooky psychedelic horrors, abracadabra wowie zowie. Loved it
