Just as you’re wrapping up your Luke Cage binge, Marvel and Netflix are announcing what’s next and when. You probably already knew that Iron Fist is next on the schedule, but now we know that we will be able to stream the series beginning March 17, 2017.
That probably feels like forever for most Marvel fans, but it’s less than six months and we have plenty of live-action content in the Marvel Cinematic Universe between now and then with Doctor Strange in theaters on November 4 and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (featuring Ghost Rider) airing Tuesday nights on ABC.
Iron Fist will come along just in time to break up the wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, due May 5, 2017.
Marvel and Netflix have also released a new image from Iron Fist, featuring Danny Rand (Finn Jones), a.k.a. Iron Fist.
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
