Robert Downey, Jr. had an awesome lunch today. The actor dined at The Optimist in Atlanta, GA with (from left to right) Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo, Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Iron Man director Jon Favreau, chef Roi Choi (not presently a Marvel star), and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. If that’s not a power lunch, I don’t know what is.
Downey is currently in Atlanta to reprise his role as Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Favreau is also set to appear in the film, marking the return of Happy Hogan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland, of course, will star. Feige, as Marvel Studios boss, is probably in town looking over the production of Spider-Man: Homecoming and supporting The Russo Brothers as they prep for Avengers: Infinity War, which will also shoot in Atlanta.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to my peanut butter and jelly sandwich because that’s just as good as lunch with Spider-Man and Iron Man.
Spider-Man: Homecoming arrives in theaters July 7, 2017.
