Marvel’s ANT-MAN finished filming today with director Peyton Reed breaking the news on Twitter.
And that’s it! Principal photography on ANT-MAN is now complete. The ants have left the building. Stay tuned… pic.twitter.com/xj5h9qFyo6

Principal photography began in San Francisco, CA back on August 18 before moving to Atlanta, GA for the majority of the shoot. With all the talk of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and Marvel’s Phase 3, ANT-MAN really has been the little guy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as of late. There are still plenty of doubters leftover from Edgar Wright’s departure, but with Reed directing a talented cast that includes Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll along with a script reworked by Adam McKay, there’s no sense in counting this one out. Besides, there’s never been any luck in betting against Marvel.
Marvel’s ANT-MAN will arrive in theaters on July 17, 2015.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
