In the synopsis for Thor: The Dark World that was released earlier today, Marvel confirmed the release date for Ant-Man as November 6, 2015. This shows Marvel will continue to work outside of summer with some of its superhero films after Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn told the press and exhibitors at CinemaCon to expect two movies each year from Marvel Studios.

Disney is going to have a huge year in 2015 with The Avengers 2Pirates of the Caribbean 5Star Wars: Episode VII, and Ant-Man all out that year. If Warner Bros. can have a Man of Steel sequel and Fox can have its Fantastic Four reboot ready for 2015, it could challenge 2012 as the biggest year ever for superhero films.
